Gandu candidates increase for Bahia Legislative Assembly

The municipality of Gandu has seen an increase in local representation for the 2026 elections, with four native candidates now registered to run for seats in the Legislative Assembly of Bahia.

In addition to Leonardo Barbosa Cardoso (known as Léo de Neco), Moisés Santos Lino, and Robson Oliveira Cardoso, Josildo Santana dos Santos, running under the name Pita Vigilante for the PSB, has joined the list. Léo de Neco, a former two-term mayor of Gandu, is noted as having the most significant political projection and established electoral structure among the local candidates.
