Gang of Youths performs sold-out homecoming at Sydney Opera House

The Sydney-born band Gang of Youths performed their first sold-out shows at the Sydney Opera House Concert Hall on August 8, 2026. This performance marked the group's first Australian shows in four years.

Frontman David Le’aupepe opened the set alone at the piano before the full band—including Donnie Borzestowski, Jung Kim, and Tom Hobden—joined him. The setlist featured fan favorites and new material, including a cover of Jimmy Buffett's "A Pirate Looks at Forty." The performance concluded with the song "The Deepest Sighs, the Frankest Shadows," featuring guest appearance by Gretta Ray.
