Gangbuk-gu to host Gaori Starlight Lounge summer night festival

Gangbuk-gu will host the ‘Gaori Starlight Lounge’ summer night festival on August 29 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Gangbuk Cultural Arts Center plaza. The event is designed to revitalize the Gaori Alley-type Shopping District, located along Samgaksan-ro between Gaori Station and the National Rehabilitation Center.

The festival features the ‘Gaori Starlight Night Market,’ where local restaurants will sell various specialty foods and snacks. To enhance the experience, adults who purchase a certain amount of food at the night market booths can receive a free draft beer upon verification. The event will also include ‘Starlight Busking’ with a DJ booth to create a lounge atmosphere, as well as a ‘Starlight Playground’ for children.

To encourage local spending, a ‘Starlight Payback’ program will be implemented. Customers who purchase goods at participating shops within the Gaori shopping district or at the night market food booths between August 1 and August 29 can receive a 50% refund of their purchase amount in digital Onnuri gift certificates. This refund is limited to 30,000 KRW per person and is available while supplies last.
