Gangdong-gu launches influenza and COVID-19 vaccinations

Gangdong-gu in Seoul has launched its 2026–2027 influenza and COVID-19 vaccination program. The initiative targets various groups, including children aged 6 months to 14 years, pregnant women, and seniors aged 65 and older.

Additionally, the program extends to vulnerable populations such as individuals with severe disabilities, basic livelihood security recipients, and national merit recipients aged 15 to 64. Influenza vaccinations are scheduled to continue until April 30, 2027, while COVID-19 vaccinations for seniors and immunocompromised individuals will run until June 30, 2027.

Eligible individuals who qualify for both vaccines may receive them simultaneously during a single visit. Vaccinations can be administered at national immunization agencies regardless of the recipient's registered address.
