Gangjin-gun hosts cultural festivals and art exhibitions

Gangjin-gun is hosting a variety of cultural and ecological events throughout October and early November.

Gangjin Art Hall has scheduled three art exhibitions featuring artists Kim Ki-hyun, Kim Hae-seong, and Yoo Jae-heung, showcasing works ranging from sculpture to painting. The venue will also host eight performances, including the musical ‘Rock and Roll Shim Bong-sa’ on October 15 and a cinema OST concert by the Manna Philharmonic Orchestra on October 17. Other scheduled events include choral festivals and traditional Samulnori performances.

Additionally, the 11th Gangjinman Dancing Reed Festival will take place from October 24 to November 1 at the Gangjinman Ecological Park. The festival focuses on eco-friendly tourism, featuring the ‘Gangjinman Ecological Expedition’ where visitors can observe migratory birds and tidal flat organisms. The event aims to promote environmental conservation through resource circulation programs and provides dedicated zones for children and local community performances.
