Gangnam-gu and Nexon Foundation launch digital creation program

Gangnam-gu is launching a digital creation education program for youth in collaboration with the Nexon Foundation. Starting October 10 at the Gangnam Future Education Center, the ‘2026 MSW Creator School Starter Course’ will utilize Nexon’s ‘MapleStory World’ IP to teach students how to plan and produce digital content and games.

The four-week program is designed to enhance logical thinking and problem-solving skills by having students design the structures and rules of their own content. Through this public-private partnership, the district reported saving approximately 98% of the total operating budget. The program is open to 20 students residing in or attending school in Gangnam-gu who are in the 6th grade of elementary school or 1st grade of middle school.
