Gangnam-gu expands integrity partnership to 17 organizations
Gangnam-gu held the ‘Integrity Gangnam Partners Festa’ on August 26 to strengthen a public-private cooperation system aimed at spreading integrity and ethical values throughout the local community.
Following three consecutive years of achieving an excellent grade in the comprehensive integrity assessment conducted by the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission, the district expanded its partnership to 17 organizations. Participating entities include public and private institutions such as the Gangnam Police Station, Seoul Housing & Communities Corporation, BGF Retail, HiteJinro, and COEX, among others.
The initiative aims to move beyond mere declarations by establishing a continuous framework where participating organizations share best practices, identify corruption vulnerabilities, and develop practical integrity tasks. Gangnam-gu officials stated that expanding the partnership signifies that integrity efforts are moving beyond the public sector and into the broader community, viewing transparency as a core component of regional competitiveness.
