Gangnam-gu holds meeting with eight reconstruction project sites

Gangnam-gu officials held a field meeting with representatives from eight reconstruction project sites in the Daechi and Dogok-dong areas to discuss progress and address difficulties. The meeting, part of the ‘Gangnam Reconstruction Speed-up Project’, involved approximately 30 participants, including Gangnam-gu Mayor Kim Hyun-ki and various union leaders.

The participating sites, which encompass a total of 17,007 households, are at various stages of development, ranging from urban planning to management disposition approval. Key discussion topics included accelerating permit procedures through integrated reviews, supporting union establishment, and coordinating with the Seoul Metropolitan Government regarding urban planning decisions.

Mayor Kim stated that the district will review the concerns raised by each site and provide customized administrative support based on their specific stages and conditions. The district also inspected local infrastructure, such as public pedestrian paths between the Eunma and Mido apartment complexes, to ensure better connectivity between adjacent sites.
