Gangnam-gu Office implements new talk concert format for employee communication

Gangnam-gu Office has introduced a new format for its regular employee briefings, transitioning from a one-way information delivery system to a two-way 'talk concert' style to foster a more horizontal organizational culture.

During the session held on September 18 at the Gangnam Community Center, District Mayor Kim Hyun-ki participated in an impromptu Q&A session. Employees submitted 88 questions covering a wide range of topics, from personal inquiries about work stress and daily routines to professional questions regarding administrative goals and his vision for his four-year term.

The initiative aims to encourage open communication and allow employees to actively participate in shaping the direction of the district's administration. The district plans to continue expanding various internal communication methods to ensure employee feedback is integrated into organizational operations.
