Gangnam-gu to host 2026 Digital DNA Festival

Gangnam-gu will host the ‘2026 Gangnam Digital DNA (Dream New Area) Festival’ on September 30 at the SETEC exhibition halls. The event is expected to attract approximately 3,500 participants, including local elementary and middle school students and residents.

The festival aims to share the results of the ‘Digital Future Talent Visiting Schools’ project, which has been active since 2023 across 61 local schools. Key features include the Gangnam Digital Future Talent Competition, where 35 selected teams will showcase AI-driven projects ranging from neighborhood safety solutions to future city developments.

Attendees can explore 53 interactive booths featuring robotics, immersive VR experiences, AI space control centers, and digital interactive art. The program also includes a special lecture by AI creator YouTuber JoCoding on navigating the AI era, alongside various community events and performances.
