Gangnam-gu to host Garosu-gil Autumn Romance Festival

Gangnam-gu will host the ‘2026 Garosu-gil Autumn Romance Festival’ in Sinsa-dong on November 7, from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM. The event aims to revitalize the local commercial district and foster communication between residents, merchants, and property owners through a family-friendly cultural program.

A 200-meter section of the northern Garosu-gil area (addresses 55 to 82) will be designated as a car-free street from 5:00 AM to 11:00 PM on the day of the festival to ensure pedestrian safety. The festival is organized into five themed zones: Music Road, Picnic Road, Food Road, Market Road, and Art & Play Road.

Programming includes local performances by students and dance teams, classical busking by Boston Chamber, and various play activities such as rodeo riding. A food zone will feature booths operated by local organizations, with all proceeds to be donated. Additionally, a market zone will host local sellers, and a dedicated playground for dogs will be available for pet owners.
