Gangnam International Peace Marathon to trigger traffic restrictions on October 5

Gangnam-gu will implement traffic restrictions on October 5 to accommodate the 23rd Gangnam International Peace Marathon. Approximately 10,000 participants are expected to compete in four categories: full course, half course, 10km, and 5km.

Vehicle restrictions will begin at the event site, covering the 500-meter stretch between Coex Intersection and the former Seoul Medical Center Intersection, starting from midnight on October 5 until 6:00 PM. The marathon running route, stretching from the former Dongho Gas Station to the Gangnam Police Station Intersection, will see traffic limitations from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM.

To minimize public inconvenience, certain bus routes, including 3417, Gangnam 01, and Gangnam 07, will be diverted. Local authorities plan to provide real-time traffic information via navigation systems, banners, and signage.
