Gangnam Seum Welfare Center distributes songpyeon for Chuseok

Gangnam Seum Welfare Center organized a community sharing event titled ‘Our Neighborhood Warm Chuseok’ to support local residents and people with disabilities ahead of the Chuseok holiday.

In collaboration with the Miral Welfare Foundation, the center distributed 586 boxes of songpyeon (traditional rice cakes) donated by anchor Kim Jin and Gyeonggi Rice Cake Shop. The donations were distributed to low-income households with disabilities and various local welfare institutions.

In addition to food distribution, the center hosted a community festival at the Gangnam Seum Center garden. The event featured several booths, including songpyeon tasting, pancake sharing, traditional Chuseok games, and a wish-writing activity, allowing local residents to participate in the holiday celebrations together.
