Gangseo-gu hosts autumn festivals and traditional market events

Seoul's Gangseo-gu district is hosting a series of autumn festivals throughout October to revitalize local economies and celebrate cultural heritage.

A month-long relay of night markets and food festivals will take place across six traditional markets, including Nambu Alley, Hwagok Bon-dong, and Kkachisan markets. These events feature food trucks, traditional games, and cultural performances, supported by an Onnuri digital gift certificate refund program to encourage consumer spending.

Additionally, the 24th Heo Jun Festival will be held in the Magok area. The event focuses on the medical legacy of Heo Jun, blending traditional Korean medicine with modern wellness through activities such as the ‘Heo Jun Run,’ medical consultations, and various cultural exhibitions at the Seoul Botanic Park.
