Gangwon FC CEO and commentator Park Moon-sung enter legal dispute

A public dispute has escalated between Gangwon FC CEO Kim Byung-ji and football commentator/YouTuber Park Moon-sung. The conflict originated from allegations made by Park regarding Kim’s involvement in a youth training program in London, where Kim’s son was reportedly included in a group meant for Gangwon FC youth players. Kim previously apologized for this incident, but the tension has since expanded into broader accusations.

Kim has countered by raising several allegations against Park, including questioning Park’s potential political ambitions and suggesting he may have used his position to influence coaching appointments at Soongsil University. Kim also questioned whether Park had improperly benefited from Korea Football Association (KFA) corporate funds during his time as a journalist.

Additionally, the two are clashing over claims regarding Kim’s travel to Cancun, Mexico. Kim denies the allegations and has announced intentions to file civil lawsuits against Park and the ‘Dalsu’s Live’ YouTube channel. Park has responded by suggesting that Kim should simply undergo a formal investigation to clear the allegations.
