Gangwon FC CEO Kim Byung-ji threatens lawsuit against Park Moon-sung

Kim Byung-ji, the CEO of Gangwon FC, has announced intentions to file a civil lawsuit against football commentator Park Moon-sung and journalist Park Dong-hee following a series of public allegations.

Kim addressed several controversies, including claims regarding an alleged luxury trip to Cancun. He clarified that he has never visited Cancun, stating that his previous travel to Mexico was strictly for official duties as a former vice president of the Korea Football Association. He also apologized for past issues regarding his son participating in a training program with Tottenham Hotspur, but criticized the conflation of that matter with unverified rumors.

In a counter-offensive, Kim raised several allegations against Park Moon-sung, questioning his past involvement with the Korea Football Association and suggesting potential political motivations. He also questioned the transparency of Park's past professional conduct. Kim stated he intends to apologize for any proven mistakes but will take legal action against false claims and defamatory content to protect his reputation and focus on his duties at Gangwon FC.
