Ganso Butadon-ya TONTON closes Okayama branch and announces new Osaka location

The restaurant chain Ganso Butadon-ya TONTON is seeing changes in its Japanese locations. The Okanan branch in Minami Ward, Okayama City, which specializes in traditional Hokkaido-style pork bowls, closed its doors on October 18, 2026. The shop had been operating since December 2023.

In contrast, Maruei Food Tech has announced the opening of a new Ganso Butadon-ya TONTON location in Osaka. The Nishinakajima Minamigata Ekimae branch is scheduled to open on October 26, 2026. The chain, which operates over 70 locations nationwide, continues to expand its presence in the Kansai and Kanto regions.
