Cultural festivals scheduled across Spain highlight local talent

Various cultural and musical festivals are scheduled across Spain, with a strong emphasis on local talent and regional identity.

In La Palma, the twelfth Festival de la Palabra de Garafía will take place from September 23 to 27, focusing on the theme of the universe. The event aims to integrate literature, music, and theater into public spaces.

In Tenerife, the Festival Boreal returns to Los Silos from September 16 to 20 for its 19th edition. The festival features international acts alongside a significant selection of Canarian artists, emphasizing sustainability and local economic support. Additionally, the Enraizados cycle at the CajaCanarias Cultural Space will feature musician Hirahi Afonso and visual artist Héctor Mar on September 11.

Other regional events include the tenth anniversary of the La Colonia al Freskito festival in Fuente Palmera, featuring artists such as Mario Márquez and Alcazaba Rock. In Menorca, the Capella Davídica will host a series of organ recitals at the Church of Socors between September 17 and October 8. Meanwhile, the Teatro Leal will host performances by Javi Hernández and José Manuel Ramos to showcase Canarian folklore and singer-songwriter music.
