Garanti BBVA Emeklilik launches new gold and clean energy funds

Garanti BBVA Emeklilik has expanded its portfolio by introducing two new pension investment funds: the Gold Pension Investment Fund and the Clean Energy Sector Equity Pension Investment Fund.

The Gold Pension Investment Fund directs at least 80% of its portfolio toward gold and gold-based capital market instruments, serving as an interest-bearing alternative to the company’s existing interest-free Gold Participation Fund. The Clean Energy Sector Equity Pension Investment Fund focuses on sustainable growth by investing at least 80% of its assets in domestic and foreign equities of companies operating in or providing services to the clean energy sector.

These new funds are accessible not only to Garanti BBVA Emeklilik customers but also to investors from other pension companies through the Pension Fund Trading Platform (BEFAS). Nurdan Tunay Günaylı, General Manager of Garanti BBVA Emeklilik, stated that the company aims to provide flexible and accessible solutions that respond to investor demands and global investment trends.
