Garanti BBVA Emeklilik reports strong H1 2026 financial growth

Garanti BBVA Emeklilik reported significant growth in its first-half 2026 financial results, outperforming sector averages in several key indicators. The company’s total Private Pension System (BES) fund size reached 374.8 billion TL, representing an 18.2% annual increase, which exceeded the sector's 11% growth rate.

In the voluntary BES segment, the company reached 1,641,000 participants. Voluntary BES fund size grew by 17.9% year-on-year to 353.1 billion TL, compared to a sector growth of 10.5%. Additionally, the company reported that its number of participants in the Automatic Enrollment System (OKS) reached 1,956,159, with OKS fund size growing 23% to 21.7 billion TL.

The company also saw growth in its life insurance sector, with total premium production reaching 114.8 billion TL, a 29% increase. Specific segments included 11.4 billion TL in various life insurance product groups, with 6.8 billion TL from credit-linked life insurance and 2.9 billion TL from accumulated and premium-refund life insurance products. The under-18 BES segment grew by 9.8%, reaching 374,840 participants with a fund size of approximately 22 billion TL.
