Garanti BBVA launches 20th Turkey's Female Entrepreneur Competition

Applications have opened for the 20th edition of the ‘Türkiye'nin Kadın Girişimcisi Yarışması’ (Turkey's Female Entrepreneur Competition), organized by Garanti BBVA in collaboration with KAGİDER and Ekonomist Dergisi. The competition aims to strengthen the presence of women in economic life and support the entrepreneurship ecosystem.

A total of 3 million TL in prizes will be awarded across five distinct categories. The winner of the ‘Turkey's Female Entrepreneur’ category will receive 1 million TL, while winners in the categories of ‘Promising Female Entrepreneur in Technology’, ‘Sustainable Regional Female Entrepreneur’, ‘Female Social Impact Entrepreneur’, and ‘Female Cooperative’ will each receive 500,000 TL. Winners will also receive KAGİDER membership, magazine subscriptions, and networking opportunities.

Garanti BBVA Deputy General Manager Sibel Kaya stated that the bank has provided 350 billion TL in financing to female entrepreneurs over the last five years and established the Women Entrepreneur Academy, which has benefited 6,000 people. Applications for the competition are open until November 15, 2026.
