Garanti BBVA tops Turkish banks with 2026 retirement salary cash promos

Garanti BBVA has updated its 2026 retirement‑salary promotion, offering SGK retirees up to 15,000 TL in cash and a total of 25,000 TL when bonuses such as Bonus Card, Paracard, Avans Account and new insurance policies are included. The bank states, “Siz de emekli maaşınızı Garanti BBVA’dan alarak, 25.000 TL’ye varan promosyon ve ödül fırsatından yararlanın!”

Other major Turkish banks have also raised their offers. VakıfBank promises up to 30,000 TL, Ziraat Bank and Ziraat Katılım up to 12,000 TL, Halkbank up to 12,000 TL, İş Bank up to 25,000 TL, ING up to 32,000 TL, Yapı Kredi up to 30,000 TL, and Akbank advertises total benefits of up to 100,000 TL for retirees who commit to a three‑year salary transfer.

Retirees must move their pension payments to the respective banks and meet stipulated conditions, such as a three‑year commitment, to receive the cash and bonus incentives. The promotions are part of a competitive effort by banks to attract the growing retiree customer base ahead of the upcoming pension increase in July 2026.
