Garanti BBVA has received two awards at the Global Finance AI in Finance Awards 2026 for its personalized financial advisory services. The bank won in the categories of ‘Best Personalized Financial Advice in Turkey’ and ‘Best Personalized Financial Advice in Western Europe.’

The bank utilizes an artificial intelligence ecosystem that combines customer feedback with behavioral data to provide real-time, proactive financial suggestions. This system aims to serve its 18.5 million active mobile customers through optimized channels and timing. A key component of this strategy is the digital assistant, Ugi, which uses generative AI to offer intuitive, natural language banking experiences. In the past year, Ugi has reached 9.2 million users and facilitated 76 million interactions.

Following these regional wins, Garanti BBVA has advanced to the Round II global final evaluation, which is scheduled to be announced in Singapore this October.
