García Márquez house to reopen to support Colombian relief

The residence formerly occupied by Gabriel García Márquez and his wife, Mercedes Barcha, is set to reopen to the public. The house had been closed since August 1.

Reopening will be free of charge, though visitors will be required to provide proof of assistance or donations to help those affected by recent disasters in Colombia.
