Gardaí issue appeals in separate murder and body discovery investigations
An Garda Síochána has renewed an appeal for information regarding the 2005 murder of 25-year-old David Nunan in Parteen, County Clare. Nunan was fatally shot in the Fairyhill area; his body was discovered by a farmer near a laneway. Investigators believe a white Toyota Carina may have been involved in transporting Nunan from Limerick city toward the scene of the crime. To date, seventeen people have been arrested in connection with the case, and nearly 450 statements have been taken.
In a separate investigation, authorities are seeking public assistance to identify a man whose body was discovered at a recycling facility in Clondalkin, Dublin, on October 24. The deceased is described as a man aged between 20 and 50 with a slim build, white complexion, and brown or blonde hair. He had no tattoos and was last seen wearing a white Adidas T-shirt with light blue stripes, a blue Nike sweatshirt, grey Nike tracksuit bottoms, and a navy and white Adidas tracksuit top. It is believed the body had been at the facility for several days.
