Campania launches vintage trains as Gardaland extends Halloween season

In Campania, the ‘Treni storici Campania’ program offers family-oriented travel using vintage trains. The initiative features 1930s Centoporte carriages and 1950s Corbellini cars, pulled by electric locomotives. Scheduled through December, the program includes 35 runs providing approximately 6,000 seats. Key routes include the Reggia Express, connecting Naples to Caserta, and the Pietrarsa Express, which travels to the Pietrarsa National Railway Museum.

Meanwhile, Gardaland has announced an extended Halloween season titled ‘Magic Halloween’. Starting September 12, the park will host 51 consecutive days of themed events, an increase of 20 days compared to the 2025 edition. This expansion follows the ‘Summerween’ trend. A major new attraction is ‘Preda’, an immersive sci-fi and post-apocalyptic labyrinth where visitors must navigate through alien creatures by remaining silent.
