Garden Silk Mills launches integrated polyester manufacturing in India

Garden Silk Mills has introduced a new integrated polyester manufacturing process, signaling a shift toward advanced textile production in the Indian market.

Laxmipati Group, under the leadership of Executive Directors Sanjay Sarawagi and Harddik Sarawagi, is expanding beyond its traditional saree business into technical textiles and apparel. Building on a long‑term collaboration with DuPont on Sorona‑based products, the company now offers a portfolio that includes flame‑retardant, high‑visibility, camouflage, and other specialty fabrics for defence, industrial, and sports applications, many of which are already used within the Indian defence ecosystem.
