Gargždai graduates honored for academic and civic achievements

At the graduation ceremony of the Vaivorykštė Gymnasium in Gargždai, eight students were honored by the Klaipėda District Municipality for achieving perfect scores on their state maturity exams. Each recipient received a 200 euro prize for every 100-point score earned.

In addition to academic achievements, a citizenship award and a 300 euro prize were established through a collaboration between the local newspaper ‘Banga’ and the Veiklių Women's Union. Meda Paulikaite received the citizenship distinction. A talented singer who has performed the Lithuanian national anthem at local basketball arenas, Paulikaite emphasized the importance of sharing talent and noted that not everything in life is driven by financial gain.
