Selvaggia Lucarelli discusses departure from Ballando con le Stelle

Journalist Selvaggia Lucarelli has addressed her departure from the Rai 1 program ‘Ballando con le Stelle’. Speaking on the podcast ‘Non lo faccio x moda’ with Giulia Salemi, Lucarelli described the current jury without her as “boring” and noted that while she has received affection from fans on social media, she remains dispassionate about the situation.

Lucarelli reflected on her time as a judge, noting that she frequently faced insults from an older audience that often misinterpreted her irony as rudeness. She expressed that while she added value to the program, she does not believe anyone is irreplaceable.

In a separate interview, Simona Ventura commented on the exit, stating she does not know the specific reasons behind the decision but recalled bringing Lucarelli to television during the first season of ‘L’Isola dei Famosi’ in 2003. Additionally, former contestant Nancy Brilli expressed disappointment regarding her own experience on the show, criticizing the television dynamics and the treatment received from judges.
