Garliava resident Matas Baronas is the 800th baby of the year in Kaunas District

Matas Baronas, born on August 17 in Garliava, has been registered as the 800th baby of the year in the Kaunas District Municipality civil registry.

The milestone surprised his parents, Simona and Edgaras. Matas is the second child in the family, joining his older brother, Adas. To celebrate the occasion, Kaunas District Vice Mayor Antanas Nesteckis visited the family to offer congratulations and present traditional gifts, including a baby crib, a baby album, and a voucher for a boat trip on the ‘Zapyškis’.
