Garmin expands product lineup with Fenix 9 and Forerunner 70
Garmin has introduced new additions to its wearable technology portfolio, including the high-end Fenix 9 and Fenix 9 Pro series and the more accessible Forerunner 70.
The Fenix 9 series features the new Garmin Epic experience, improved stamina metrics, and hardware upgrades such as a brighter screen and increased RAM. The Pro model specifically includes a titanium case, a material previously reserved for the brand's most exclusive versions. Salvador Alcover, General Manager of Garmin Iberia, noted that the premium positioning of these devices is built on product quality and data precision.
For a broader consumer base, the Forerunner 70 offers an entry-level option priced at approximately 200 euros. This ultralight model, weighing about 40 grams, features an AMOLED display and physical buttons. Despite its lower price point, it includes advanced features such as integrated GPS, over 80 sport profiles, and metrics like Training Readiness and Training Status, which were previously exclusive to more expensive models.
