Garmin launches Enduro 4 outdoor smartwatch

Garmin has launched the Enduro 4, an ultra-performance outdoor smartwatch priced at approximately $899 / €900. The device features a 1.4-inch transflective memory-in-pixel (MIP) display and a 51mm case constructed from fiber-reinforced polymer with a titanium bezel.

A primary focus of the device is battery longevity. Under ideal solar conditions—defined as three hours of daily outdoor exposure at 50,000 lux—the watch can reach up to 90 days in smartwatch mode and 320 hours of GPS recording in ‘Extended Battery’ mode. Without solar assistance, the battery life is estimated at up to 36 days in smartwatch mode and 120 hours in ‘Extended Battery’ mode. In ‘Max Accuracy’ mode using multi-band GPS, the battery lasts up to 60 hours.

Technical features include built-in LED flashlight, TopoActive maps, and SatIQ technology for automatic GPS mode switching. The watch also introduces the ‘Garmin Epic’ feature for reviewing multi-day activity data and supports grade-adjusted pace workouts. Health monitoring capabilities include an FDA-cleared ECG app, blood oxygen tracking, and sleep monitoring.
