Garmin launches Enduro 4 smartwatch and Approach S72 golf watch

Garmin has expanded its premium wearable lineup with the introduction of the Enduro 4 smartwatch and the Approach S72 golf watch.

The Enduro 4 is designed for endurance athletes and adventurers, featuring a 1.4-inch MIP display with Power Sapphire solar charging. The device offers significant battery improvements, lasting up to 320 hours in activity mode or up to 90 days in smartwatch mode with sufficient sunlight. Hardware upgrades include 50% more RAM, 64 GB of storage, and a mapping engine that enables 30% faster map panning. New software features include grade-adjusted pace, stamina zones, and the Garmin Epic function for aggregating multi-day activities.

The Approach S72 is a specialized golf smartwatch that introduces a built-in speaker and microphone, allowing for telephony and voice commands. It provides real-time heart rate monitoring, swing data analysis—including hand speed and wrist rotation—and green reading capabilities via contour data. The device is available in 43mm and 47mm sizes with AMOLED displays and titanium bezels.
