Garmin launches fēnix 9 and fēnix 9 Pro series

Garmin has officially released the fēnix 9 and fēnix 9 Pro smartwatches, introducing several hardware and software enhancements. The new models feature AMOLED displays that are twice as bright as previous generations, sapphire glass protection, and 50% more RAM to facilitate faster map processing.

Key software updates include the ‘Garmin Epic’ feature, which allows users to combine activities spanning several days or months into a single journey. The devices also offer improved stamina tracking, including stamina zones and curves, as well as specialized metrics for rowing and rucking.

Additionally, the fēnix 9 series now supports YouTube Music via the Connect IQ Store. This allows users with a YouTube Music Premium or YouTube Premium subscription to download playlists, albums, and podcasts via Wi-Fi for offline playback through Bluetooth headphones without needing a smartphone.
