Garmin launches MARQ Gen 3 luxury smartwatch series

Garmin has unveiled the third generation of its MARQ luxury smartwatch line, arriving four years after the previous iteration. The new collection consists of six specialized models: Athlete, Adventurer, Aviator, Commander, Diver, and Golfer.

Key hardware upgrades include a larger 1.4-inch AMOLED display, up from 1.2 or 1.3 inches in previous versions, and premium construction materials such as grade 5 titanium, sapphire crystal, and ceramic details. The devices feature inductive buttons to maintain water resistance up to 10 bar.

A significant functional addition is inReach connectivity with LTE, allowing users to send messages, share locations, and trigger SOS requests via satellite without a smartphone connection, subject to an active subscription. The new series also offers improved battery life, lasting up to 18 days in smartwatch mode.
