Garmin announces Enduro 4 ultra-endurance smartwatch
Garmin has announced the release of the Enduro 4, a new ultra-endurance GPS smartwatch designed for trail runners, ultra-marathoners, and adventurers. The device features significant hardware upgrades, including 50% more RAM and doubled internal storage, reaching 64GB. These improvements are intended to provide a 30% faster map navigation experience.
Key technical specifications include a 1.4-inch MIP display with Power Sapphire solar charging technology. This allows for an extended battery life of up to 90 days in smartwatch mode and approximately 320 hours in GPS activity mode under specific solar conditions. The watch is built to military standards (MIL-STD-810) and weighs approximately 66 to 68 grams.
New software features include ‘Perspective View’ for better route visualization, ‘Max Accuracy’ for precise tracking, and ‘Garmin Epic’ for managing multi-day activities. The device also introduces stamina zones and curves to help athletes manage pacing during long-distance races. The Enduro 4 is scheduled for release in late October 2026.
