Garmin releases Beta update for flagship smartwatches

Garmin has released a new Beta system update, version 23.30, for several of its high-end smartwatch models. This update is designed to improve the performance of voice memo recording when the devices are connected to Bluetooth headphones.

The update applies to flagship models including the Fenix 8, Fenix 8 Pro, Enduro 3, Fenix E, Quatix 8, and Tactix 8. While the update addresses specific recording issues and minor bugs, certain features such as Dive and ECG remain temporarily disabled in this beta version. A stable public release date has not yet been announced.
