Garmin unveils third-generation MARQ luxury smartwatch collection

Garmin has officially unveiled the third generation of its premium MARQ smartwatch collection, featuring six specialized models: Adventurer, Athlete, Aviator, Commander, Diver, and Golfer. Designed as a high-end alternative to traditional mechanical timepieces, the series utilizes Grade 5 titanium chassis, ceramic bezels, and sapphire crystal glass.

A major technical upgrade in this generation is the integration of inReach satellite connectivity and LTE modem capabilities. These features allow for two-way messaging, voice calls, and emergency SOS signals directly from the wrist, even without cellular coverage, though satellite services require a subscription. The watches also feature built-in speakers, microphones, and LED flashlights.

Visually, the collection introduces a larger 1.4-inch bezel-less AMOLED display with high brightness. Each model is tailored to specific activities, such as the Aviator with UTC time and aeronautical weather data, the Diver with specialized diving functions, and the Golfer with a virtual caddie. The collection is scheduled to be available starting November 5, 2026, with prices beginning at €2,350.
