Garmin unveils third generation of MARQ luxury smartwatches

Garmin has unveiled the third generation of its MARQ luxury smartwatch collection, featuring six distinct models: Adventurer, Athlete, Aviator, Commander, Diver, and Golfer. While sharing a common technical foundation, each model is tailored with specific software and design elements for different activities, such as aviation, golfing, or outdoor exploration.

The new series introduces a 1.4-inch edge-to-edge AMOLED display, the largest in the history of the MARQ line. The construction utilizes premium materials including Grade 5 titanium cases, ceramic bezels, and sapphire crystal glass. Hardware improvements include a slimmer design for better all-day comfort, integrated speakers, microphones, and an LED flashlight.

Key technological features include TopoActive global maps, sleep and stress tracking, and built-in inReach satellite connectivity, which allows for communication without a phone. The watches offer up to 18 days of battery life in smartwatch mode. European pricing for the collection starts at approximately €2,750.
