Garín inaugurates new provincial identity registry sub-delegation

A new sub-delegation of the Provincial Registry of Persons has been inaugurated in Garín, Buenos Aires province. The facility allows local residents to process identity documents, including DNI applications, reports of lost documents, change of address, and mandatory renewals for children and adolescents. It also facilitates requests for birth, marriage, and death certificates.

To assist residents facing financial difficulties, a social worker from the Municipal Police's Eva Division will be available to evaluate cases and manage exemption letters for those unable to afford national government fees. During the opening, under the ‘Mi Identidad, Mi Derecho’ program, 13 birth certificates were issued to individuals who previously lacked legal identity.

The new office is located within the Escobar Security Secretariat. Additionally, the municipality is working with SUBE Nación to install a SUBE Management Unit, which will allow residents to obtain official transit cards, manage student fare benefits, and report lost cards.
