Garth Brooks Returns to Chicago for Two 'Blame It All on My Roots' Shows
Country superstar Garth Brooks will perform at Chicago’s Allstate Arena on September 11 and 12 as part of his new "Blame It All on My Roots" tour. Tickets go on sale on August 7. Brooks has long credited Chicago with reviving his career after a 2014 comeback was jeopardized when planned Dublin concerts were cancelled. His wife, Trisha Yearwood, said the loss felt “like a death in the family,” and the city’s support helped launch an 11‑show sold‑out run that cemented his bond with Chicago. Brooks now holds the Allstate Arena record for most performances by a single artist, with 23 shows, and the upcoming two concerts will raise that total further.
