Garth Brooks teases potential retirement after 2026 tour

During a recent stop on his ‘Blame It All On My Roots Tour’ in Salt Lake City, Utah, country music star Garth Brooks teased the possibility that this could be his last major, extended headlining tour.

While Brooks has not officially announced a retirement, he told the audience, “I’m not sure what the future holds,” but noted that if he were to tour again in the future, he would consider making Salt Lake City the opening city for his next tour. The 64-year-old singer previously stepped away from music in 2001 to focus on his family before returning to full-scale touring following a Las Vegas residency.
