Garuda Indonesia and InJourney launch free domestic flight program for tourists

Garuda Indonesia and InJourney have launched the Free Domestic Flight (FDF) program, offering 170,845 free domestic flight seats to international tourists. The initiative aims to encourage visitors to explore destinations beyond Jakarta and Bali, supporting the 'Discover More Indonesia' campaign.

To qualify, international travelers must hold a Garuda Indonesia round-trip international ticket. The program is valid for flights between August 1 and November 30, 2026. Travelers are required to use the booking code 'INDO' for the free domestic segment.

The Indonesian Ministry of Tourism supports the program, noting that 70 percent of international arrivals use air travel. Officials stated the goal is to increase the quality of tourism by extending the length of stay and increasing visitor spending. Key regions targeted for enhanced connectivity include Yogyakarta, Central Java, and Lombok.
