Garudayaksa FC targets top-five finish in Super League debut

Garudayaksa FC has announced its ambitions for the 2026/2027 Super League season, targeting a top-five finish following its promotion from the second-tier Championship. CEO Muhamad Reza Anugrah stated that while the club does not aim for the championship title in its debut season, securing a position in the top five is the primary goal.

To support this transition, the club has entered into a major sponsorship agreement with Zentara Technologies. This partnership includes the integration of the Planet Training digital platform to enhance player development, coaching methodologies, and talent identification. Zentara executives noted that the technology aims to provide enterprise-level infrastructure to help Indonesian football produce talent more systematically and preserve institutional knowledge during coaching changes.

Head coach Milos Joksic intends to implement a modern, attacking tactical approach inspired by European clubs, utilizing three-to-five player patterns to maximize goal-scoring opportunities. Garudayaksa FC is scheduled to play its first match of the season on September 6, 2026, against Java United.
