Garut emergency teams battle remaining fires at Pasir Bajing landfill

Joint emergency teams are working to extinguish remaining fires and manage thick smoke at the Pasir Bajing landfill in Sukaraja Village, Garut Regency. The operation involves the Garut Police, the local government, the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD), the Fire Department, the TNI, and Brimob.

To accelerate the process, authorities have deployed six fire engines, two excavators, a loader, and a bulldozer. A coordination post has been established at the Pasir Bajing landfill site to manage the firefighting efforts and monitor the area to ensure public safety and order in the surrounding community.
