Garwolin County Council debates costly agricultural simulator tender

During a session of the Garwolin County Council, local officials debated a tender for the purchase of an agricultural combine simulator. Councilor Karolina Jamnicka-Kondej raised concerns regarding the cost of the equipment, noting that the selected offer amounted to 150,000 PLN. This figure is approximately 91,000 PLN higher than the original estimate of 59,000 PLN.

Jamnicka-Kondej questioned why the county did not cancel the tender and re-announce it, suggesting that similar equipment could be acquired for roughly 60,000 PLN. She argued that the price difference could have been used to fund other local infrastructure, such as a sidewalk in the Górzno commune.
