Gary Barlow and Jason Manford to film food and wine series in New Zealand

Singer Gary Barlow and comedian Jason Manford are set to star in a new six-part travel and culinary series titled ‘Gary Barlow’s Food And Wine Tour: New Zealand’. The programme follows the pair as they journey across the country to explore the connections between food, wine, and the natural environment.

The duo will visit various locations, including Auckland, Waiheke Island, Queenstown, Central Otago, Marlborough Sounds, and Hawke’s Bay. During the adventure, they will meet local producers, chefs, and winemakers, while also immersing themselves in Maori traditions and local landscapes.

Barlow expressed a deep passion for the project, noting that the vineyards in New Zealand are among the best in the world and that the local flavors are shaped by a respect for the land. He compared his interest in wine to his passion for music, citing the dedication of the producers. Manford, who joined the tour to learn about wine, described the filming experience as one of the biggest privileges of his life.
