Gary Oldman to return for ‘Slow Horses’ Season 6 on Apple TV

Apple TV has announced that the sixth season of the spy drama ‘Slow Horses’ is scheduled to premiere on September 16, 2026. The season will consist of six episodes, with weekly releases concluding on October 21, 2026. The new installment is adapted from Mick Herron’s novels ‘Joe Country’ and ‘Slough House,’ following the characters as they become involved in a dangerous situation involving MI5’s Diana Taverner.

Gary Oldman will return to lead the series as the cynical and unkempt spymaster Jackson Lamb. Reflecting on his long-running role, Oldman noted that he personally shares little in common with the character. He described Lamb as a man without a “filter” who is often crude and confrontational, whereas Oldman stated that he prefers to avoid confrontation and does not wish to make others feel uncomfortable.
