Gas grill tests reveal high prices do not guarantee quality

Recent evaluations of gas grills highlight a disconnect between premium pricing and product quality. A Stiftung Warentest study of 12 gas grills found that the most expensive model, priced at 749 euros, ranked last due to pollutants found in the grill grate that can contaminate food.

The test winner was the Rösle Videro Pure G3, priced at approximately 459 euros, which received a grade of 'Gut' (2.0). It was noted for its even heat distribution and ease of assembly.

In a separate practical test, the Weber Spirit EPX-435R Stealth Edition was examined to see if its smart features and modern technology could justify its premium positioning. The model features four stainless steel burners providing 10.26 kW of power and includes a WLAN thermometer for app-based temperature monitoring.
