Gasoline prices in Florida and Indiana show regional variations

Gasoline prices in Florida and Indiana have shown slight variations recently, according to reports from AAA. In Florida, the average price for regular gasoline dipped by one cent to $3.87 per gallon. This minor decrease occurred despite a 5% rise in crude oil prices, which closed at $82.40 per barrel. Regional differences in Florida are significant, with Panama City reporting the lowest price at $3.46 per gallon, while West Palm Beach-Boca Raton saw the highest at $4.07.

In Indiana, the average gas price was reported at $3.59 per gallon, which is 48 cents lower than the national average of $4.07. While Indiana's gas prices were one cent lower than the previous day, they were 10 cents higher than the previous week and 36 cents higher than a year ago. Diesel fuel in Indiana averaged $5.51 per gallon, and electric vehicle charging costs were 43 cents per kilowatt hour.
